My name is Angela Sallee, and I am the head coordinator and owner of Bit by Bit Events. I began my event planning career planning my own wedding to my college sweetheart. As the planning process went on, I began to really enjoy the work that went into my wedding. Knowing the Owner of the Winchester Opera House, I reached out to Vanessa Ziembroski to see if a coordinator was needed on staff. Turned out that a position was available, and I started in July of 2011 at the Opera House. On September 10, 2011, I married my husband at the Headley-Whitney Museum with a guest list of over 300!
In the 3 years I was with the Winchester Opera House I helped plan and coordinate over 60 weddings, both indoor and outdoor, ranging from small and intimate with guest lists of under 20, to large receptions over 250. I also helped plan rehearsal dinners, baby showers, and coorporate events.
In 2013 I decided it was time to begin branching out and created Bit by Bit Events. By 2014 I was ready to commit entirely to my own business, and have seen it grown immensely since that time. I have had the pleasure of working with the most amazing couples and some of the best vendors in the area.
I am here to be your sounding board, your organizer, your therapist, and your friend throughout this entire process. I pride myself on the fact that many times after my weddings are over, I am still close to my brides and speak to them frequently.
I want you to be able to live in the moment at your wedding. Not concerned with if the cake is there, or if the DJ is set up. This is your day, you deserve to enjoy it. And so do your friends and family. I know you want your mom with you, being able to see how beautiful you are and not worrying about setting up. I will be the first person there and the last person to leave, taking care of the little things you may not have even thought about. And in the end, you will get to remember your wedding day as one filled with love and fun!
Some personal things to know about me – I love horses. I have been riding and competing horses for over 20 years. Its where the business name partially came from. I have a wonderful horse named Buddy who helped fulfill my dream of competing internationally representing the United States. My husband and I live on a 5 acre farm with our two dogs, Bailey and Andi. We humanly raise all our own meat and grow our own veggies. It is our little slice of heaven and we love it. I am extremely organized, type A, and OCD – the perfect combination to be a wedding planner! My husband and I welcomed our first child Owen right after Christmas 2016 and we are so in love!
